It is a beautiful Summer’s day here. You can have a cold shower and get dressed in wet pajamas and sit in the gentle breeze eating watermelon until you’re full. I know because I just did it.
I went to Pak’n’Save this morning on my power chair to get groceries. I thought it would also be a good way to do my evangelism for the day. On my way, I met a man playing guitar outside the launderette, who told me he had already reached personal forgiveness (when I said the tract was about how he could get his sins forgiven). I replied the Bible says there is forgiveness in no one except Jesus. (Colossians 1:14).
I saw an elderly lady waiting to cross the road, and said “This is for you,” giving her a good person tract. She asked what it was, and I said, “It tells you how you can have peace with God, and all your sins forgiven.” She said, “Oh, thankyou,” and put it away.
I bought a watermelon and some ice blocks among other things. Coming out of the shop, I saw an old man packing his car. I gave him a tract, said two effects of the Gospel, exhorted him to read it, and headed home.
I didn’t bike very far on Cogy this afternoon because I was too tired. I got hot and sweaty though. So I had a cold shower, did my washing in the sink and ate chilled watermelon till I nearly burst. Goodnight 🙂
I love the way you enjoy the season ❤ Mmmm, I am so hungry (or thirsty?) for watermelon now, after reading your blog
